Depending on the type of title and the registration area, parcel numbers may follow different formats including LR numbers (freehold), IR numbers (leasehold), title numbers, or block/plot references.
Common Formats
- LR No. 209/1234 — Land Reference for freehold parcels
- IR No. 12345 — Interest Reference for leasehold parcels
- Title No. Nairobi/Block 82/1234 — Title number with county and block
- Block 3/Plot 456 — Block and plot reference
